Melissa Terras is the Professor of Digital Cultural Heritage within Design Informatics. With over 25 years producing award-winning digital projects in the Gallery, Library, Archive, and Museum sector, Melissa’s recent activity has supported others to develop new data-led products and services.

Professor Melissa Terras was elected to be a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2024, and given an MBE for Services to Digital Humanities in the 2025 New Year’s Honours List.
