Creative Bridge
Creative Bridge was created as a free course for creatives in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas, run by CodeBase. Creative Bridge aimed to demystify the tech world and its jargon for creative professionals, sharing the building blocks of digital product development over 10 weeks for those who wanted to develop a business idea, or learn more about start-up thinking.
Creative Bridge supported professionals working in any area of the creative industries, based in Edinburgh, Fife, West Lothian, East Lothian, Midlothian, or the Scottish Borders, and as a pre-accelerator, was primarily designed for professionals with early-stage ideas, or no ideas. The programme included core creative business sessions on Markets, Understanding Your Customers; the Build-Measure-Learn cycle; Pitch Decks; and Funding & Investment, alongside guest speaking slots from global entrepreneurs.
Creative Bridge supported nine cohorts throughout the lifetime of the CI project, and was free for successful applicants, each place funded by Creative Informatics to the value of £5000 per participant. Visit thisiscodebase.com/creative-bridge for more information.
