Imagine If is a team of three working in the fields of architecture, urban design and community engagement. Their collective ambition is to improve the standard of housing and make it more socially, financially and environmentally sustainable, and in order to facilitate workshop discussions on these themes, they created an innovative new game – The Imagine If Game – in 2019.
Their focus for the Resident Entrepreneur project in 2023 (Round 8), was to create a digitised version of the Imagine If Game allowing them to host the game virtually, to engage a wider group of people and to make the game more accessible.
Having previously established a minimum viable product, their RE project saw them working with developers, Bad Dinosaur, on the technical aspects, as well as with their mentor on strategic development and future promotion and positioning of the game. By developing a more automated, digital solution, they improved the marketability of the game whilst increasing the company’s viability in general. They celebrated the launch of the digital version of the game during an event at the 2023 Architecture Fringe.
