Co-Founder, Craig Fleming took part in Cohort 3 of Creative Bridge before taking up a place on Round 3 of the Resident Entrepreneur programme in September 2020. Having come from a background in the performing arts, Craig had a very clear understanding of the problems that Centrline set out to resolve and the Resident Entrepreneur programme provided the time and space to focus on R&D of their software and processes.
Through the programme, Craig and David developed and tested the Centrline platform, bringing together bespoke project planning and management tools with shared resources to offer an efficient, community-focused and equitable product.
In 2020 Centrline was awarded £20k of funding to respond to a Creative Informatics Challenge Project set by the National Theatre of Scotland. This saw them working on a data-driven project to map the company’s touring activity and was a key partnership in the development of Centrline’s business going forward.
Throughout the course of their activity with Creative Informatics, Craig and David successfully attracted more than £131K in funding. They presented their work on the Creative Bridge podcast and also presented at CI’s Innovation Showcase in 2020 and 2023.
