Creative Informatics funding streams continue to operate as usual. We do not anticipate any significant changes to our calls and application periods, though we may extend some application processes if required.
We will continue to provide information and advice to potential applicants, and to support our funded participants with their projects. If you are currently undertaking a Creative Informatics Challenge or Resident Entrepreneur project we will be contacting you shortly with updates on how you can keep in touch, and what to do if you need to make any changes to your plans in light of current events.
Based on current UK Government and NHS Scotland advice, our events from 17th March 2020 onwards will either be postponed or moved to new online formats. The current status of our events is shown below – please check back for updates.

- 23rd March 2020: Challenge Respondent Panel (2) – going forward as a virtual meeting
- March/April (Date TBC) Connected Innovators Workshop 1: Shaping Your Idea – going forward as virtual event
Postponed until further notice:

Contacting the Creative Informatics Team
The Creative Informatics Team are working from home from 17th March 2020 for the foreseeable future. We would usually undertake frequent face to face meetings, catch-up, evaluation and research work but we are moving to virtual meetings instead, using a range of technologies and formats. We are able to undertake all of our usual work away from the office but please do be aware that this is an unprecedented shift to fully remote working and there may be some potential delays to processing paperwork, finances, etc. during the initial transition period.
To ensure that any queries reach the team please use our project email address as your first point of contact: email@example.com. (If you have already been directly in touch with a member of the Creative Informatics team, please feel free to contact them directly at their own email address and copy in or follow up with the project address where useful).
We will be very happy to answer any questions you may have about the project, application processes etc, over email and arrange phone or video conference sessions as appropriate. We are also keen to understand how we can help you at this challenging time – please do get in touch and look out for updates on our activity and virtual Creative Informatics events.
As a project concerned with the many beneficial opportunities for using data and technology and will be continuing to review the most appropriate means for continuing to engage and connect with you, and to provide support, throughout this developing public health situation.
