Engage Invest Exploit (EIE) is a tech entrepreneur accelerator and investor readiness programme based at the University of Edinburgh’s Bayes Centre. Every year EIE culminates in an international virtual conference that attracts a global audience of over 950 investors and business guests.

In 2021 we will be working with EIE to support creative tech start-ups in the Creative Informatics community, helping them identify potential investment opportunities to achieve their ambitions through the Creative and Digital Media strand of the EIE programme.

Each cohort of EIE includes 30-50 entrepreneurial data-driven start-ups and scale-ups based in Scotland that would like to develop their business at a global level.

Since it’s inception, EIE has helped over 450 companies attract more than £850m of investment. Participants in EIE 2020 included Creative Informatics Resident Entrepreneur Siwei Kang, who secured £146,000 of pre-seed funding from Techstart Ventures this year, for further development of her screenshot note-taking app Picojar.
