    Creative Informatics Director Chris Speed introduces the CI Innovation Showcase.

    Creative Informatics: Engaging and accessing new audiences

    Artist Sarah Calmus, service design and user experience research consultancy InChat, and cultural web platform providers Scottie will introduce their Creative Informatics projects and discuss the ways in which they are using data and data-driven technologies to reach and interact with new audiences in a live panel.

    Ecosystem Panel

    Oliver Littlejohn, Head of Partnerships at CodeBase, will host a panel exploring the future for creative ecosystems as we start to emerge from the Covid-19 crisis, what can we learn from the last year and how can businesses engage globally while building strong empathetic local connections?

    Creative Informatics: Unlocking hidden value in datasets

    Brian Baglow, founder of Scottish Games Network, creative and digital agency Insurgent Studios, and digital surveying and pre-visualisation specialists Stageport join us to talk about their Creative Informatics projects, utilising a variety of data sets to create new tools and resources for the creative industries.

    An interview and live Q&A with Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE, co-founder of the award-winning social enterprise Stemettes, and host of the Women Tech Charge podcast.

    Creative Futures Panel

    Both the Scottish Technology Ecosystem Review/the ‘Logan Review’ and Scotland’s AI Strategy have set out ambitious visions for the future of creative data and technology use in Scotland. This panel will look forward to emerging opportunities for the creative industries to innovate in creative, sustainable and inclusive ways in the near and further future.

    Foxdog studios bring their award winning show Robot Chef to the CI Innovation Showcase, for a special interactive online performance. Have your phone fully charged to control Foxdog’s DIY robot chef, and help Lloyd and Pete cook dinner by igniting their gas stove, driving a sky tractor and firing the sausage cannon!
