CI LAB #7
CI Labs are informal, monthly events that provide a meeting place for creatives of all disciplines to connect, collaborate and hear about innovative, data-driven work taking place across the creative industries. These events are free to attend and are open to anyone working in Edinburgh and South East Scotland’s creative and cultural communities.
CI Labs typically feature talks, demonstrations and/or live performances from creative practitioners and academics who are working with data and data-driven technologies, they also provide opportunities to network and hear about upcoming and current Creative Informatics funding calls.
CI Labs take place in a variety of cultural and creative spaces in and around Edinburgh. Previous hosts have included Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop, Edinburgh International Festival, The Botanics, Whitespace and Lava Town.
Our speakers to date have included Rachel Maclean, Zachary Eastwood-Bloom, Tobias Revell, Ray Interactive, Brightside Studios, J.R. Carpenter, and Delic.
We are always on the lookout for new organisations and venues to collaborate with on our events, so if you are interested in hosting a CI Lab, please get in touch with the Creative Informatics team.
